Yoga and Fitness Class

We all are aware that , dancing demands a good amount of physical fitness to enable a dancer to hold a stance, move around maintaining proper alignment, stamina and move with changing speed efficiently. To be able to do that, one needs upper and lower body strength and agility, a great deal of core strength and stamina. And we are aware that many of us may not be training our muscles enough to function to its fullest potential, which eventual leads to injuries and exhaustion.​

To take care of that aspect, we have researched over last 3 years and put together a module “Strength and Mobility” which is specially designed to address the common injuries dancers have along with the challenges they face physically.

“Strength and Mobility” is a very unique fitness program specially designed for dancers to enable them to dance with the maximum physical potential.

This unique program was designed and compiled to strengthen, stabilize and increase mobility of every muscle and joint needed to dance more effectively, avoiding injuries as much as possible.

These classes are meticulously designed in a very systematic progression suitable for anyone from a beginner level to advance, in their fitness journey.

The routines are a combination of elements from traditional yoga, Primal flow, own body weight workouts, etc. split through the week to keep it interesting and fun. The core component being yoga, these classes bring a lot of discipline in mind and body encouraging them to practice the deeper connection with self through awareness and self reflection.

The classes also give awareness on importance of correct technique, how a muscle works, injury prevention and connecting with mind and body through pranayama and breath work.

We have students from all over the world receiving wonderful results through this program.
